About Us
The Middle Market Department is Hartford Financial Products' (HFP) newest underwriting unit created specifically to address the management liability insurance needs of small and mid-sized (for profit) privately held commercial companies.
The department was established to provide efficient management liability products for The Hartford's core base - its Select and Middle Market customers. HFP is focused on providing a wide array of complementary risk solutions to The Hartford's agents while incorporating the expertise of the third largest domestic management liability provider. Working closely with our Property and Casualty field staff, our goal is to respond to the needs of The Hartford agent and its small and middle market customers across all lines of coverage.
